Tyres

New postby crisp » Sun Feb 08, 2009 7:45 pm

I would be interested on the views and personal experiences of people who have tried different sized tyres on their compacts regarding going up or down in profiles and also widths, also different brands and tread patterns on road and in mud, sand and gravel. also interested on effects of rolling diameters with speedo and odometer with changing what is on when supplied by dealer and also lealities thereof. Will be interested to hear opinions and experiences.
Regards
Chris

Caan't offer any advice but interested in this thread. Higher profile tyres could help my ground clearance quite a bit. I do understand that you can only (legally) increase tyre size marginally (15mm) because of the speedo error which results?
