Compact capabilities?

New postby Exx » Wed Jan 27, 2010 11:13 am

Hi all,
I did an Intro 4wd course on Sunday and while I found it very informative, I felt that it was aimed at dual range 4by's and I struggled to eke out the info specific to Compacts ie, capabilities & limitations.
There was also an activity on the day I was advised was not suitable for Compacts which was disappointing. I've enrolled for the sand & bush course but was advised on Sunday they are really not suitable for my vehicle.
I can't find courses specific to Compacts.Does the Club run training days or can anyone recommend a a place that does?

Hi Kathi,

Can you give us a call please, we can help you out.
If easier, sms us your home number and we will call you on the land line instead of mobile.

Cheers

Hmmmmm not sand or bush for a compact? a lot of people in the club missed that course.

Of course I could have been halucinating when I have seen xtrails, rav4's, outlanders etc. on the beaches and in the sand dunes and of course I must have really been on the strong stuff when I saw some of these vehicles in the bush.

Hmm maybe some of the trainers on these courses are car salesman or salesman for after market gear?

These comments are my personal ones and not of the club or principals thereof

Yeah, I'm finally getting somewhere in my search for people who actually know what these vehicles can do, as opposed to what they can't do and it looks like I can get some training too so I have hope :)
